Play, Make Create

 Today we did P.MC and I worked with Gaurav and we did create. We made this thing called Gum leaves graber 68520 and this is it.

Play, Make, Create

 Today we did Play, Make, Create and the book was We are all equal. I worked with Darius and we did Build. We made a house for the Bear and the Turtule and we made it out of a egg box. Inside it there is the bears bed and the turtule has his own pool that me and Darius made.

The hardest part was doing the other part that is not on it was going to be the bears house but we did not get to finish it because we did not have enough time to do it. What we worked good on was making the pastic roof for the pool because we just had to cut a plastic bottle open.

Brushing your teeth poster.

 This is my brushing your teeth poster. I had two days to work on it and I aimed for a supernova and I learned that tooth brush bristels use to be made out of cow hair. Also you have to buy a new tooth brush every three months. Also you don't swallow your spit and you dont wash out your mouth after you have brushed your teeth.

 This is my Play Make Create that I did with Sean and we did Create. But it was hard because the little kids destroyed our other one when we went to get a drink so we had to make a new one but then some people got some of our batons so we had to make a small one.

Kite Day Term 2 2021

 

This is our kite day and I worked with Dean. The hardest part was puting the string on the kite beacuase we put it on the wrong way and then we had to do it again. The easiest part was puting the tape on.

Then we flied it but it dident go really good but then we fixed it up cause the wood broke on it. Then we flew it and it was way better.

 The book was up the creek and I worked with Brooklyn but we did not finish.

 We made a boat that can drive on the road and go in the water. 

We made a flag that has a S on it and there is a steering wheel in it.

The hardiest part was doing the flag because it keeped falling off 

Whetu Fun Day

Whetu Fun Day

Last Thursday we had a Whetu Fun Day as our camp was postponed.  Our teachers planned a fun day for us instead!  We participated in a Whetu Amazing Race, a range of different fun rotations, a BBQ lunch and play on the council playground then we finished the day with an Easter Egg hunt and an ice block.

My favourite part of the Amazing Race was doing the under and over with a ball and that was our last challenge.

The rotation I enjoyed the most was the stem challenge beacouse we dressed up Isac in news paper and we gave him Gucci shoes, Cape, dress and a shirt

During the Easter Egg Hunt I found my stick inside a tree by the cricket nets.

We made a camp tent and inside of it there two beds and the peace of paper on the top is so you can make it light inside the tent and dark.

Term 1, Week 5 Blog Template

Week 5, Term 1, 2021

Monday was our school Swimming Sports. On the day I went in 3 give it a go racers and in freestyle I came 2nd breathstroke 2nd and backstroke 2nd to last.

We had two art sessions this week and I am doing collage with Miss Mac and it is fun.

In reading this week we have been reading Book Detectives and it is really fun.

Part of our maths programme is NumBots and I think I am pretty good at doing it. I am on Steal.

Whetu challenge

This is my blog challenge I worked with Sean and we made a scratch. We did a hide and seek Catterpilla. The easy part was getting the catterpillas to it. The hard part was scripting it.

Week 4, Term 1, 2021 The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time this week is Play because I got to play Touch and it was fun. We started our art this week and I have chosen to do art with Miss Mac. Our art is going to be collage. Im going to make a eagle. We created our Whetū stars on Thursday and they look Awesome and I did mine with my mum before school. Next week we have our school swimming sports. I am feeling. Nervous, excited.

Blog Post 2021

Week 3, Term 1, 2021 Someone who has helped me with my learning this year is Mrs Kennedy, Mrs Mac, Mrs loft, Mrs Heaven and Mrs M. Gaurav, Levi, Sean, Ethan. The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time is Numbots because you get coins to spend at the shop to get new characters. Swimming because you get to swim in lanes. The most fun thing that I have done at a play or lunch time this year is Making a swing with a big rope at lunch time and trading Pokemon cards. One word that describes learning in Whetu is Fun cool awesome. Something I am looking forward to is doing Numbots.
